If your family has a housing need, such as inadequate plumbing, poor heating, leaking roof, overcrowding (three to a bedroom), or unsafe or unsanitary conditions, or you are a resident of public housing, and you have lived or worked in Polk or Floyd County for at least a year, you may qualify for a house from Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity- Coosa Valley is scheduling a Family Selection Meeting for families in Polk and Floyd counties, Feb. 8th at 6PM at the Rome library in the Coosa Room. Anyone interested in learning how to become a Habitat Partner Family needs to attend this meeting. Attendance is all that is needed for the first meeting, they do not need to bring anything.
